Hell Revealed

- By Yonatan Donner & Haggay Niv

At some point, a mapper asked himself what it would be like if he made Doom II brutally difficult. As in, even more brutal than Plutonia, and by an order of magnitude. The result of this thought experiment has split opinions, with most people either hating or loving it. I, for one, find myself loving it. The first entry is a bit rougher around the edges due to its age, so most people remember the sequel more, though that does not mean it is not worth checking out. If you want a classic-era WAD that is really freaking hard, either of these will do the job just fine. Original release date: 05/02/97
